Born on January 18, 2003, in Jeend, Haryana, Nikesh's journey is one that many can relate to. Growing up in a loving household, his father, Ravinder, wore the badge of a policeman, while his mother, Santro, ensured a warm home atmosphere as a dedicated housewife. Alongside his younger brother Nitin, Nikesh enjoyed a childhood filled with playful competition, shaping the spirited athlete he is today. At 17, Nikesh was captivated by the high-energy atmosphere of the Pro Kabaddi League. It was this moment that set him on his path in kabaddi, where he began training under coach Rampal Kaushik at the Arjun Stadium in Jeend. There, he discovered his passion for hand touches and developed a particular affinity for jumping tactics, idolizing the great Pawan Sehrawat for his incredible skills in this area. Currently, Nikesh is pursuing his Bachelor's degree and balancing academics with his athletic aspirations. His hard work paid off when he earned the second prize at the All India University Games held at Lovely Professional University, fueling his dreams even more. With his sights set on playing for the national team, Nikesh is determined to make an impact in kabaddi while representing India on an international stage.
