Meet Gaurav, a passionate young kabaddi player hailing from Dutalem, Goa. Born on July 4, 2007, Gaurav's journey into the world of kabaddi began in 2018, inspired by his favorite player, Pardeep Narwal. While watching matches of the Pro Kabaddi League, he was captivated by the game's energy, which motivated him to step onto the mat and start his own journey. Currently a Left Cover Defender, Gaurav is honing his skills at the Naresh Narwal Academy in Haryana. Under the guidance of his coach, Naresh Narwal, he practices diligently every day. One of his standout skills is the Thigh Hold, but he also enjoys executing Dash and Jump techniques. His commitment paid off when he recently earned a bronze medal representing Goa at the Junior Nationals in Telangana in 2024. Gaurav lives with his family, including his older brother Sonu, who works various small jobs in hotels back in Goa. While Gaurav is focused on his kabaddi career, he’s also committed to his education, currently studying in the Eleventh Standard. With dreams of playing in the Pro Kabaddi League one day, Gaurav hopes to make his parents proud and carve out a stable future for himself.
